Is Sasheh Being Ignored?

Sasheh Agha, daughter of iconic singer Salma Agha, seems to have hit the jackpot with an enviable debut in 'Aurangzeb' opposite Arjun Kapoor. However, strangely enough, she has been missing from the promotions of the film.

A source says, “Sasheh was missing from the first press conference of the movie held last week. It raised a few eyebrows as the rest of the cast comprising Rishi Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and Prithviraj were all present.”

The latest news is that Arjun has already left for the Delhi leg of promotions and yet again Sasheh has not been included. “The movie releases in a week and there is still no publicity campaign surrounding the actress,” the source adds.

This has got the industry speculating about Sasheh’s relations with the production house Yash Raj Films. The source adds, “It’s now common knowledge that Sasheh had earlier been dropped from the YRF’s 'Ishaqzaade' and was replaced by Parineeti Chopra. Speculation is rife about whether there are problems again, due to which the production house is refusing to promote her. While co-star Arjun Kapoor has been aggressively promoting the movie Sasheh seems to be missing from the limelight. Being a debutante this isn’t an ideal situation.”
